– HY9608: Departure from Moscow (Vnukovo) at 04:50 (January 16), arrival in Bukhara at 10:45 (January 16).

According to the Aviaincident Telegram channel, the engine malfunction was identified in the second engine of the Airbus A320 aircraft at 7:16 Moscow time (9:16 Tashkent time) on January 15. The aircraft was flying at an altitude of 4,000 feet on its route from Bukhara to Moscow.
