Uzbekistan Airways Offers Special Discounts for Senior Citizens during Tourism Month
In celebration of Tourism Month, Uzbekistan Airways has announced a special discount for senior citizens traveling on local flights. From November 1 to November 30, passengers aged 60 and above for men and 55 and above for women will be eligible for discounts of up to 15% on economy class fares.
The announcement, made by the airline’s press service, aims to support older travelers during the designated month for tourism. To avail of the discount, eligible seniors must present a valid passport or ID card as proof of age. Discounted tickets can be purchased at Uzbekistan Airways sales branches, through official agents in Uzbekistan, and on the airline’s website.
It is important to note that while the discount applies to the economy class fare, various taxes, fees, and charges will still be applicable to passenger and cargo rates. These additional costs will not be affected by the discount offered to senior citizens.
November was declared Tourism Month for senior travelers in 2020, emphasizing the importance of supporting and encouraging older individuals to travel and explore new destinations.
