
Uzbekistan and Hungary enhance cultural and heritage cooperation

The Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Hungarian Heritage House Strengthen Cultural Ties Through Online Negotiations
The Embassy of Uzbekistan recently organized a productive video conference that brought together representatives from the Culture and Art Development Fund, the Cultural Heritage Agency of Uzbekistan, and the General Director of the Hungarian Heritage House, Miklós Both. The aim of the meeting was to facilitate cooperation and establish contacts between the State Museum of Jadid Heritage and the Hungarian Heritage House.
During the virtual meeting, participants engaged in discussions about potential collaboration opportunities and the sharing of experiences in the realm of cultural heritage preservation and promotion. The Uzbek side presented comprehensive information about the activities of the Cultural Heritage Agency, focusing on its key areas of work and ongoing projects, such as the upcoming opening of the State Museum of Jadid Heritage.
The Hungarian delegation expressed a strong interest in partnering with Uzbekistan and underscored the significance of mutually beneficial initiatives that would enhance cultural exchange and cooperation. Both parties agreed on the importance of organizing joint exhibitions that showcase Uzbekistan’s diverse cultural heritage and committed to strengthening collaboration within the framework of international cultural projects and initiatives.
By reaching these agreements, Uzbekistan and Hungary are taking substantial steps towards deepening their cultural ties and fostering mutual understanding and respect between their peoples. These efforts not only promote the preservation and promotion of national cultures but also contribute to the overall development of cultural relations between the two countries.
