
Uzbekistan and India to Partner on Transport Vehicle Manufacturing

In Mumbai, discussions were held regarding the potential for manufacturing transport vehicles and motor oils in Uzbekistan through collaboration with a prominent Indian company.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, Sardor Rustamboyev, met with Ashok Hinduja, Chairman of Hinduja Group – India, and Prakash Hinduja, Chairman of Hinduja Group – Europe to explore partnership opportunities.
Hinduja Group representatives emphasized that Uzbekistan’s ongoing reform efforts create a favorable environment for top international companies with strong global reputations to enter the market and establish successful business relationships. They also acknowledged the potential for mutually beneficial joint projects in the country.
Specifically, the parties talked about plans to work together on projects in Uzbekistan, with a focus on establishing production facilities for transport vehicles and motor oils.
