Uzbekistan and Mongolia Reach Transport Agreement
A recent presidential decree in Uzbekistan has brought about the ratification of two important international agreements between Uzbekistan and Mongolia. The Agreement on International Road Transport and the Agreement on Air Services, signed on June 24, 2024, in Tashkent, have been officially approved.
The Ministry of Transport has been assigned the responsibility of overseeing the implementation of these agreements. Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers, along with the heads of relevant ministries and agencies, have been instructed to ensure proper oversight of the agreements once they are in force, following established procedures.
These agreements are expected to strengthen the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia in the areas of road transport and air services, benefiting both countries and their citizens. It is a significant step towards enhancing bilateral relations and promoting greater connectivity between the two nations.
