Uzbekistan Establishes Diplomatic Relations with Nauru
The Republic of Nauru has officially become the 159th country to establish diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan. On March 20th, a Joint Communiqué was signed in New York, solidifying the relationship between the two nations.
The agreement was signed by Uzbekistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ulugbek Lapasov, and Nauru’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Lara Erab Daniel, on behalf of their respective governments. Both parties expressed their commitment to strengthen cooperation within international organizations, particularly the United Nations and its specialized agencies.
The signing of this agreement signifies a new chapter in bilateral relations, with a focus on exploring opportunities for collaboration in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian fields. Both countries have agreed to increase efforts to foster mutual benefits and enhance communication.
Nauru, known as the smallest independent republic in the world, is located in the Pacific Ocean. This newly established diplomatic relationship opens up possibilities for increased interaction and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Nauru in various areas of mutual interest.
