Uzbekistan Citizens Allowed 15-Day Stay in Azerbaijan Without Registration
The citizens of Azerbaijan planning to travel to Uzbekistan will need to be aware of a new protocol that has recently come into force. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that an amendment to the agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan on visa-free travel has been implemented.
Under this new protocol, citizens of both countries will be able to travel to each other’s territories for a period of 15 days without the need for a permit issuance or temporary registration. This means that travelers can enter, exit, transit, and stay in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan without the hassle of obtaining additional permits.
The protocol, which was signed on August 22, 2023, in Baku, came into effect on January 15, 2024. This development will undoubtedly make travel between the two countries more convenient for citizens of Azerbaijan.
It is always important for travelers to stay informed about the latest regulations and protocols when planning a trip to a different country. With this new agreement in place, citizens of Azerbaijan can now look forward to easier and more hassle-free travel to Uzbekistan.
