Uzbekistan Collaborates on Year-Round Resort Project at Charvak
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev recently got a glimpse of the future of tourism in Uzbekistan with a review of the master plan for the “Sea Breeze Uzbekistan” international tourism center on April 14. The project is set to transform the shores of the Charvak Reservoir into a bustling hub for both local and international visitors.
The presentation highlighted the project’s master plan, which was developed with the input of various international companies. Divided into ten distinct zones, the center will offer pedestrian-friendly recreational areas and services to cater to the diverse needs of tourists. A bridge will be constructed over the reservoir to enhance accessibility, while the waterfront will boast boulevards, beaches, and relaxation spots. On the hillsides, visitors can expect to find a range of accommodations, including hotels, cottages, and houses, as well as restaurants and entertainment venues. Additionally, cultural, educational, medical, and sports facilities will be integrated into the complex.
More than just a tourist destination, the “Sea Breeze Uzbekistan” center aims to create a vibrant community for year-round living. President Mirziyoyev stressed the importance of making the complex accessible and convenient for all tourists, and issued instructions to ensure that the necessary infrastructure is in place.
With the development of this international tourism center, Uzbekistan is poised to attract visitors from around the world and provide them with a unique and unforgettable experience on the shores of the Charvak Reservoir.
