China has once again reaffirmed its position as the top exporter of mobile phones to Uzbekistan, according to the latest data released by the National Statistics Committee. During the first two months of 2025, Uzbekistan imported a total of 552,649 mobile phones from abroad, amounting to approximately $60 million in value.

The majority of mobile phones imported by Uzbekistan during this period originated from various countries, with China leading the pack by exporting 404,185 units. Following China, Vietnam supplied 129,589 units, India provided 14,269 units, and the UAE contributed 4,428 units. Additionally, a small number of mobile phones were imported from other countries, totaling 178 units.

Looking back at 2024, Uzbekistan imported a total of 4.2 million mobile phones valued at $374.5 million. Of these imports, a significant portion of 3.4 million mobile phones were sourced from China, highlighting the strong trade relationship between the two countries in the mobile phone industry.

As China continues to dominate the mobile phone export market to Uzbekistan, it remains a key player in meeting the demand for mobile devices in the country. With an increasing reliance on mobile technology, Uzbekistan’s import of mobile phones is likely to continue to grow in the coming years, further solidifying China’s position as a major supplier in the region.
