Uzbekistan Looks to Export Medical Products and Medicines to Kuwait

Ambassador Ayubkhon Yunusov recently met with Faisal al-Mojil, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Association of Importers of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacies. During the meeting, held at the Al Mojil Drug Company, discussions were held regarding the potential export of medical products and medicines from Uzbekistan to Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti side was briefed on the advancements in Uzbekistan’s economy and the capabilities of its pharmaceutical sector. Samples of products from various regions of Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, Andijan, Fergana, Syrdarya, and Karakalpakstan, were also presented to the Kuwaiti delegation.

To further explore potential collaborations, it was suggested to organize online negotiations between the Kuwait Association of Importers of Pharmaceutical Products and Pharmacies and relevant Uzbekistani organizations. Faisal al-Mojil, who had previously visited Uzbekistan in 1999, expressed admiration for the country’s economic growth and recent achievements.

“We are ready to engage in discussions with Uzbekistani ministries and companies to pursue mutually beneficial projects,” said Faisal al-Mojil.

The meeting served as an important platform for enhancing trade relations between Uzbekistan and Kuwait in the pharmaceutical sector. Both parties expressed interest in exploring opportunities for cooperation and collaboration in the future.
