Uzbekistan Implements Visa-Free Regime for Citizens of Qatar
Citizens of Qatar can now visit Uzbekistan without the need for a visa. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree that officially introduced the visa-free regime for Qatari citizens, allowing them to stay in the country for up to 30 days. The Ministry of Justice confirmed the news, stating that the decision was made ahead of the Qatari Emir’s visit to Uzbekistan on June 5.
President Mirziyoyev and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani are scheduled for talks in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The introduction of the visa-free regime is expected to strengthen the relationship between the two countries further.
