Uzbekistan reveals top 20 taxpayers in the country
According to recent data, almost half of the taxes paid in Uzbekistan from January to May of this year came from 10 large companies with state participation.
A total of 2,187 large taxpayers contributed 52 trillion 48 billion UZS in taxes during this period. Out of this amount, 25.7 trillion UZS were paid by the top 10 large taxpayers with state involvement.
NMMC led the pack with 11.4 trillion UZS, followed by AMMC with 3.9 trillion UZS, Uzgastrade with 2.1 trillion UZS, and Hududgaztaminot with 2 trillion UZS.
In comparison, more than 4 trillion UZS were contributed by the top 10 large taxpayers in the private sector. The highest tax payment from a private sector company came from Uzbat with 1.3 trillion UZS, with other significant contributions from Enter Engineering, Tashkent Tobacco, Capital Bank, Hamkorbank, Unitel, and ADM Jizzakh.
These numbers highlight the significant contribution of both state-owned and private sector companies to the country’s tax revenues and overall economic development.
