Uzbekistan to Establish German-Style Vocational Training Centers for Job Market Alignment

New Vocational Training Centers to be Established in Uzbekistan in Collaboration with German Organization
In a move to meet the demands of the German labor market and provide employment opportunities for Uzbek citizens, vocational training centers will be established in Uzbekistan. This decision came after a meeting between Olim Abdullaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and representatives from SBH West GmbH (Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk), a German organization specializing in education and vocational development.
The focus of the discussions was on enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the field of vocational education and supporting job opportunities for Uzbek citizens abroad. A key initiative discussed was the implementation of a tripartite memorandum aimed at facilitating the employment of Uzbek citizens in Germany as truck and bus drivers.
Furthermore, both parties agreed to set up branches of SBH West GmbH training centers in various regions of Uzbekistan. These centers will provide vocational programs tailored to the needs of the German labor market, ensuring that graduates possess the skills and qualifications required for successful employment in Germany.
The implementation of these agreements is expected to open up new job prospects for Uzbek citizens in international labor markets. It signifies a significant step towards strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the fields of education, migration, and skills development. This collaboration is set to benefit both countries by addressing the demands of the labor market and providing opportunities for skilled workers from Uzbekistan to contribute to the workforce in Germany.
