Uzbekistan’s New Ambassador Presents Credentials to Chief of Protocol in Pakistan
Uzbekistan’s newly appointed Ambassador, Alisher Tukhtaev, officially presented copies of his credentials to Tipu Usman, Chief of Protocol at Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting took place recently and was aimed at further strengthening the Uzbek-Pakistani relations in various areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the potential for enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, highlighting the importance of collaboration in bilateral and multilateral frameworks. Tipu Usman expressed Pakistan’s willingness to expand beneficial partnerships with Uzbekistan in different sectors.
Alisher Tukhtaev assumed his role as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan on October 6, succeeding Oybek Usmanov who served in the position from 2021 to 2024. The new Ambassador is looking forward to contributing to the deepening of ties between the two countries and working towards shared goals and objectives.
The presentation of credentials marks the beginning of Alisher Tukhtaev’s diplomatic mission in Pakistan, and it is expected to pave the way for increased cooperation and collaboration between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in the coming years.
