
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Saidov Meets with Vietnam’s Prime Minister for Talks

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, who is currently on a visit to Hanoi, had a significant meeting yesterday with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh. The two leaders discussed the strengthening of the relationship between their countries and the potential for further cooperation in various areas.
In a statement released on his Telegram channel, the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry expressed his commitment to establishing a comprehensive partnership with Vietnam. He highlighted Vietnam’s remarkable progress and development in recent years, making it one of the most dynamically developing countries in Southeast Asia and beyond. The focus of their discussion was on enhancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
The visit of the Uzbek delegation, led by Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, officially began on March 18 with the aim of strengthening ties with Vietnam. The agenda includes a series of negotiations and meetings in Hanoi with key organizations, as well as the hosting of an Uzbek-Vietnamese business forum. This visit is a crucial step towards expanding collaboration and promoting mutual benefits for both countries.
