The main export markets for Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable products were Russia, accounting for 32.7% of the total exports, followed by Pakistan at 19.7%, Kazakhstan at 15.3%, and China at 7.8%. These countries have proven to be key destinations for Uzbekistan’s agricultural products.
Overall, the export of fruits and vegetables made up 3.9% of the total export volume during this period. This demonstrates the importance of the agricultural sector to Uzbekistan’s economy and highlights the country’s potential as a major player in the global market for fresh produce.
With continued efforts to expand and diversify its export markets, Uzbekistan is well-positioned to further enhance its presence in the international trade of fruits and vegetables. This positive trend in exports bodes well for the country’s agricultural sector and economy as a whole.
