Uzbekistan’s Olympic Football Team to Take on Spain in Opening Match
The head coach of the Uzbekistan Olympic team, Timur Kapadze, has officially announced the list of players who will be representing the country at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The list, which includes a total of 23 players, was presented to the UFA press service.
According to the tournament regulations, three players over the age of 23 have been included in the team. These players are Eldor Shomurodov, Oston Urunov, and Husniddin Aliqulov. The inclusion of these experienced players is expected to bring a valuable level of expertise to the team.
Uzbekistan is set to kick off their participation in the Paris Olympics on July 24 with a match against Spain at the Parc des Princes stadium. The team will also face tough competition from Egypt and the Dominican Republic in their group matches.
