Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Plans Visit to Kyrgyzstan
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has accepted an invitation from President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan to attend the upcoming meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Bishkek on October 13. This meeting will serve as a platform for discussing and enhancing multilateral cooperation within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The summit will focus on various important topics, including the expansion of joint programs and projects in sectors such as trade, investment, industrial cooperation, innovation, digitalization, transport, education, and culture. The leaders of the CIS member states will also discuss opportunities for collaboration in other areas of mutual interest.
Furthermore, following the meeting, the participants intend to adopt a series of agreements and decisions concerning priority areas of interaction within the CIS. These agreements and decisions will serve as a roadmap for future cooperation and development among member states.
The CIS Council of Heads of State is an important platform for discussing regional cooperation and fostering closer ties between the participating countries.
