
Uzbekistan’s Volleyball Federation Welcomes New Chairman: Minister of Internal Affairs

Aziz Tashpulatov Appointed Chairman of Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation
Aziz Tashpulatov, the Minister of Internal Affairs, has been elected Chairman of the Volleyball Federation of Uzbekistan, as announced by the Ministry of Sports’ press service. This appointment was made during an extraordinary conference of the federation, which took place at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition to the announcement of Tashpulatov’s new role, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Cup volleyball tournament was also launched during the event. This competition is part of the “Five Initiatives Olympics,” a national youth sports initiative aimed at promoting physical activity among young people.
Tashpulatov assumed the position of Minister of Internal Affairs earlier this year in March. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of head of the Tashkent City Police Department.
With Tashpulatov now at the helm, the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation looks forward to continued growth and success under his leadership. The combination of his experience in law enforcement and his passion for sports make him a valuable asset to the federation.
