To add credibility to their scheme, the scammers may even use real photos of top officials from the National Bank or their deputies. Following this initial contact, the victims are then approached by fake law enforcement officers who request money transfers for various reasons.
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has issued a warning alerting the public about these fraudulent activities. They advise individuals to never trust such messages and to always verify information from official sources before making any transactions.
