Warning to Subscribers with KIB-TEK Debt by BRTK
The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced that subscribers with outstanding debts from February 2025 and earlier will have their electricity cut off on March 5th.
According to a statement released by KIB-TEK, subscribers who owe a total of 675 TL from February 2025 or earlier, including both private individuals and legal entities, will face disconnection on March 5th if their debts are not settled.
This move comes as part of KIB-TEK’s efforts to collect overdue payments and ensure the sustainability of the electricity supply in the region. Subscribers who are affected by the disconnections are urged to make the necessary payments to avoid any disruptions in their electricity service.
