Water Inflow Outpaces Outflow in Toktogul Reservoir Volume
Toktogul Reservoir Water Levels Increase
As of April 14, 2025, the volume of water in the Toktogul reservoir has reached 8,569 billion cubic meters, according to Electric Stations JSC. The water inflow into the reservoir is currently measured at 385 cubic meters per second, with a flow of 179 cubic meters per second.
Comparing this to a month ago, when the volume was 8,386 billion cubic meters, there has been a noticeable increase in the water levels. Back then, the average daily inflow was 203 cubic meters per second, while the average daily flow was 316 cubic meters per second.
Looking back to a year ago on the same date, the volume of water in the reservoir was much lower at 7,278 billion cubic meters. The average daily inflow was 252 cubic meters per second, with an average daily flow of 166 cubic meters per second.
