Water outage planned for two neighborhoods on October 22
Residents of Bishkek’s Ala-Too residential areas will face a temporary interruption in their cold water supply on October 22. The City Hall press service has announced that repair work on the water intake of the Ala-Too residential area and the city water supply networks will necessitate the shutdown.
Cold water will be turned off in the Ala-Too 1 and Ala-Too 2 residential areas from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the specified date. Bishkekvodokanal, the city’s water management company, is advising organizations and residents in these areas to make arrangements for storing an adequate supply of drinking water ahead of time.
This precautionary measure is being taken to ensure that residents are not inconvenienced during the repair work, and to minimize any potential disruptions in daily activities.
