Water shortage to affect Bishkek districts on September 24
Water Supply to Be Suspended in Some Districts of Bishkek on September 24
Bishkek residents in certain districts will face a temporary suspension of their drinking water supply on September 24. This announcement was made by Bishkekvodokanal through a post on their Facebook page.
The areas that will be affected by the water shut down from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. include the following:
- Railway line, Frunze Street, Alamedin river, Panfilov Street
- Railway line, Matrosov, Gorky Streets, Gvardeisky Lane, Bektenov, Skryabin, Mavlyanov, 7 April Streets
The interruption is necessary due to repairs being carried out at the Kok-Dzhar water intake and city water supply networks.
In light of this, Bishkekvodokanal advises residents to make necessary arrangements and stock up on drinking water in advance to minimize inconvenience during the water supply suspension.
