Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Devlet Bahceli has spoken out against the recent demonstrations in Saraçhane following the arrest of Ekrem Imamoglu. Bahceli condemned the protests as a provocation orchestrated by enemies of Türkiye, aimed at disrupting the peace and stability of the nation.
Describing the demonstrations as a threat to the integrity of Türkiye, Bahceli emphasized that the actions of the protesters have nothing to do with freedom, but are fueled by ulterior motives. He accused the organizers of the protests of being affiliated with illegal left-wing groups and marginal parties, set on undermining the progress and development of the country.
In a passionate speech, Bahceli pledged to defend the Republic of Türkiye at all costs, reaffirming his commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and independence. He condemned those who defiled sacred spaces and incited violence in the name of democracy, calling for justice to be served against those responsible for spreading chaos and disorder.
