Wedding Car Crashes into Ditch in Rize
A bridal car flew into a ditch in Rize, causing injuries to several passengers including the bride and groom.
The incident took place in Müftü Mahallesi Lahana area around 18.40. The driver, identified as Ö.G., lost control of the steering while driving towards the city center, causing the car with plate number 53 ADB 250 to crash into the hillside on the right side of the road.
The impact of the crash threw the vehicle into the stream bed on the opposite side of the road. The passengers in the car, including the bride KK, the groom AK, and others identified as SD and ES, sustained injuries as a result of the accident.
Emergency Health teams arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the injured individuals before transferring them to hospitals in the city for further treatment.
