Weekend Program Released for 42nd Istanbul Film Festival.

The 42nd Istanbul Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), is set to take place between April 7th and April 18th, featuring quality and award-winning films, special screenings, star actors, and master directors from Turkish and world cinema. The festival offers a rich program of 134 feature films and 29 short films, including the newest examples of world cinema, cult works, master directors, and the latest films of young talents, showcasing 160 directors from 84 countries in 14 sections over 12 days.

In addition to screenings, the festival will also feature interviews, special screenings, and events with the participation of guest directors and actors.

On Saturday, April 15th, the festival will feature screenings including Crows Turn White, March to Rome, Coal, Roast, and Leftover from the Wind at various cinemas around the city, such as Atlas 1948, Cinewam City’s 3 and 7, French Cultural Center, and Kadıköy Cinema.

The program for Sunday, April 16th, includes screenings such as Living Bad, National Shorts Program 2, Next Girl, and Age 16 at various cinemas around the city. America, Alice, Darling, Humanity Is Not Dead, gold of the rhine, and Inside will be screened at the Kadıköy Cinema, while the Cinematheque Cinema House will also hold screenings.
