
Wildberries Trains 30 Female Students from Kyrgyzstan in Design

Girls in IT project finalists awarded in Bishkek
Bishkek – 13:58, 12 October 2024 – The Girls in IT project, implemented by Wildberries with the support of Ene-Balaga Tirek Public Foundation, Kyrgyz Pochtasy, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, celebrated its finalists in Bishkek.
The Girls in IT social project aims to develop female entrepreneurship and provide girls in the country with high-quality and affordable education to kickstart their careers in modern digital professions.
At least 30 girls from vocational schools across the republic were selected to participate in the pilot project. The training took place during the summer of 2024 under the guidance of Wildberries Art Director Dmitry Matveyev and experts from the company specializing in design and HR.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science Abazbek uulu Rasul emphasized the importance of the modern education system in preparing individuals for a rapidly changing world. Acquiring additional skills and embracing digitalization are key focus areas for the education sector in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2024-2026. Rasul highlighted that participation in such projects not only equips youth with in-demand skills but also boosts their confidence, growth, and development.
The project finalists presented their graduation papers successfully and received certificates and gifts. All 30 participants were awarded laptops and valuable prizes to support them in utilizing their professional skills and future training opportunities. Additionally, the course graduates are recommended to Wildberries partners in Kyrgyzstan as entry-level specialists capable of creating product cards, designing social media accounts, and completing design tasks.
Wildberries has been active in the Kyrgyz Republic since 2017, collaborating closely with local businesses and organizing various educational workshops for entrepreneurs. The company is dedicated to developing services for partners and customers in the region.
