Wildfire Breaks Out in Çorum Forest Area – Urgent News Update
A forest fire near Yukarıbeşkız village in Çorum has been extinguished with the help of local authorities and citizens. The fire, which broke out for unknown reasons, damaged 3 decare of forest area before it was put out by Sungurlu Municipality fire brigade teams. Upon receiving notification, both fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region to contain the fire. Fortunately, thanks to the quick response of the teams and the assistance of citizens, the fire was brought under control before it could spread further.
