Woman Shot in Turkey, Suspect Apprehended
112 Emergency Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the Uzunoluk location of the Çivril-Sivaslı highway in Turkey, following reports of a woman being shot with a gun.
Upon arrival, the teams identified the victim as Ç.A., 33. She was promptly taken to Sivaslı State Hospital for treatment and then transferred to Uşak Training and Research Hospital due to the severity of her condition.
Meanwhile, authorities launched a search for the suspect identified as YA, who had fled the scene. After thorough investigation, the suspect was found hiding in a vineyard house near Kayaağıl village.
The Gendarmerie Criminal Investigation Teams (JASAT) successfully apprehended the suspect in an operation.
As of now, the woman’s health condition remains serious, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing. The authorities are working diligently to bring the perpetrator to justice and ensure the victim’s recovery.
