Xi Jinping to Visit Kazakhstan and Tajikistan on State Trip
President Xi Jinping of China is scheduled to embark on a state visit to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan from July 2 to July 6, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China on June 30.
During his visit to the capital of Kazakhstan, Xi Jinping will not only meet with the country’s official leadership but will also participate in the summit of heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on July 4 in Astana.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported that the SCO summit will be attended by leaders from Kazakhstan, India, Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Qatar, UAE, Turkey, and Turkmenistan. This meeting demonstrates the importance of cooperation and dialogue among these nations in the region.
President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan highlights the significant relationships and partnerships that China holds with these Central Asian countries. This visit is expected to further strengthen diplomatic ties and enhance cooperation on various issues of mutual interest.
