Economic society “Ýigit” shares export experience in Turkmenistan
As part of the “Export Ecosystem Development Initiative” project of the USAID Trade Program in Central Asia, the Economic society “Ýigit” has showcased its successful export experience. Maksat Shirov, the General Director of the Greenhouse Complex of the Economic Society, represented the company and shared insights into their journey.
Founded in 2008, Economic society “Ýigit” has made significant strides in the agribusiness sector since 2015. With operations spanning 1000 hectares, the company established a greenhouse complex in 2018, covering an area of 100,000 square meters. This facility has a production capacity of 3,600,000 kilograms of tomato varieties annually.
Continuing their growth, the company completed the construction of two additional greenhouse complexes in 2019, totaling 200,000 square meters. This expansion led to a substantial increase in production capacity, reaching 12,000,000 kilograms of tomatoes per year.
