Suddenly, two passengers emerged from the vehicle and launched a vicious attack on the law enforcement officer.
Reports indicate that one assailant restrained the officer while the other subjected him to heavy physical assault. As a result, the officer sustained injuries and was subsequently hospitalized for treatment. However, it has been confirmed that the perpetrators were caught and taken into custody.
The Osh police department, in an official statement made to 24.kg news agency, corroborated the incident. A criminal case has been initiated against the offenders under the charge of “Hooliganism” as stipulated in the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The department further revealed that both suspects, aged 23 and 18, have been arrested and remanded to a pre-trial detention center following the decision of the Osh City Court.
