“Youth to Lead Türkiye’s ‘Century of Success'”
Fuat Oktay, the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey, has emphasized the importance of youth in building and achieving success in the country. Oktay, who is running for the AK Party deputy candidate from Ankara, spoke on social media about the contributions of young people in the country’s development.
Oktay stated that the most glorious pages of history were written by the youth, and that the Republic of Turkey rose on the shoulders of the youth. He also acknowledged the challenges faced by young people due to the one-party mentality.
However, Oktay highlighted the numerous achievements of the Turkish youth in recent years, including young musicians and actors who are admired around the world, athletes breaking records, and young writers who are read globally. He also commended the young engineers who have helped to produce domestic and national technologies in the defense industry.
Oktay announced that university exams will be held more than once a year, while interviews in public employment will be removed, and scores from written exams will be prioritized in ranking. He also promised to provide financial support to young people who set up a new house.
