Ukrainian President Calls for International Response to Russia’s Attack on Kryvyi Rih

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged the international community to take action in response to Russia’s recent strike on the people of Kryvyi Rih. The attack, which resulted in the deaths of 18 people, including 9 children, has prompted a period of mourning in the city from April 7 to 9.

In the wake of the tragedy, Zelenskyy has emphasized the need for increased air defense systems to protect against missile strikes. He has stated that Ukraine is looking to the United States for assistance in acquiring additional Patriot missile defense systems.

“We specifically discussed with the American side the possibility of obtaining additional air defense systems to protect against such missile attacks. We rely on our agreements with the President of the United States, who promised to help us find more Patriots,” Zelenskyy said.
