Unlicensed Driver Causes Terror in Bursa
In a tragic incident in Bursa, an unlicensed driver caused terror on the roads. Zeynep Nazlı Sarıkaya, who was on her way home after watching the TOFAŞ-Keravnos basketball match on Fatih Sultan Mehmet Boulevard in the central Nilüfer district, was crushed under a truck driven by the unlicensed driver.
Sarıkaya sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment by an ambulance that was called to the scene. The driver, identified as Efe Şayık, fled the scene of the accident but later surrendered himself at the Nilüfer Police Station. Şayık was accompanied by his family when he turned himself in.
The incident has left the community in shock and raised concerns about the dangers of unlicensed drivers on the roads.
