103 Arrested in Nationwide FETÖ Operation Across 39 Provinces
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has recently revealed updates regarding operations targeting the FETÖ terrorist organization in 39 provinces across Turkey. The operations, named “Kenkaç-39,” were carried out in various provinces including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Antalya, among others.
Minister Yerlikaya stated that the operations were aimed at individuals involved in the FETÖ’s military and student structures. Those apprehended were accused of engaging in activities to further the organization’s agenda, maintaining communication with higher-ups within the terrorist group, using encrypted communication methods like the ‘ByLock’ app, and seeking refuge in safe houses known as ‘Gaybubet evi.’
The individuals apprehended in the operations are also being investigated for their involvement in various FETÖ-related crimes, including attempting to subvert public exams and conducting illegal activities on behalf of the organization. The crackdown on FETÖ members continues as authorities remain vigilant in dismantling the terrorist group’s networks nationwide.
