1st Family Workshop Action Plan undergoes successful 6-month evaluation meeting

The first 6-month evaluation meeting of the final report and action plan for the 1st Family Workshop was recently held under the leadership of Sibel Tatar, the wife of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar. The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Presidential Social Support Committee, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and Eastern Mediterranean University.

During the evaluation meeting, representatives from various institutions attended, including Presidential Social Services and Social Policy Advisor Aydan Başkurt, Eastern Mediterranean University faculty member Prof Dr Sibel Dinçyürek, Social Services Department Alev Ecevit and Melahat Işınsu, Ministry of Interior Hilmi Balkan, Prime Ministry State Planning Organization Funda Öngen, Ministry of National Education Sureyya Gürdal, and representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

In her speech, Sibel Tatar emphasized the significance of the evaluation meeting in terms of the position of the responsible institutions according to the final report, and expressed her gratitude to the representatives of the institution and the Presidential advisors for their work.

The representatives of the institutions who attended the meeting expressed their satisfaction with participating in the first 6-month evaluation meeting of the Family Workshop, which was held for the first time in the country under the auspices of the Presidency and under the leadership of Sibel Tatar.

The aim of the Family Workshop is to provide social support to families in need, and the implementation of the final report and action plan is vital in achieving this goal. Therefore, the success of the workshop depends heavily on the involvement and cooperation of all responsible institutions.
