District Gendarmerie Command in action after baby abandoned in forest
The District Gendarmerie Command teams have initiated an operation to apprehend those responsible for abandoning a baby in the forest area near the recreation area. As a result of their efforts, suspects SM and R.S. have been detained. It has been confirmed that the two suspects, one of whom is a woman, will be taken to the courthouse following the necessary procedures at the gendarmerie.
Fortunately, the baby, who is now under state protection, has been reported to be in good health. The incident occurred on September 6, when two individuals discovered a newborn baby boy left alone in the bushes in the forest area near the Kayıkseki Picnic Area in the Karaçulha Neighborhood after hearing cries.
The baby was promptly taken to a private hospital in the district where he received the necessary medical treatment. Authorities are continuing their investigation into this alarming case of child abandonment.
