The exports of the Turkish defense and aerospace industry in 2023 have been announced, and the numbers are impressive. According to reports, Turkey’s exports in the field of defense industry were recorded as 5.5 billion dollars in 2023.

One of the highlights of 2023 was the AKINCI TİHA contract signed by BAYKAR with Saudi Arabia, which was valued at more than 3 billion dollars. This contract was recognized as the largest export contract signed by the Turkish defense and aviation industry in a single item, further solidifying Turkey’s position as a key player in the global defense market.
The sector’s share in Turkey’s general exports was reported to be 2.5%, indicating its significant contribution to the country’s overall export performance.
