2024 National Anatolian Phoenix Military Exercise by Ministry of National Defense
The National Anatolian Phoenix-2024 Exercise is currently taking place at the 3rd Main Jet Base Command in Konya, with the participation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and national elements. The exercise aims to test and enhance the command and control process for personnel rescue missions, increase the training levels of personnel rescue task force elements, improve survival and escape procedures, and enhance the training levels of pilots.
During the exercise, tasks such as close air support, dynamic targeting, and time-sensitive targeting are being carried out within the framework of joint and combined operations, by incorporating them into personnel rescue mission scenarios. This helps in maintaining the mission readiness level at the highest level, while also increasing interoperability between participants.
The National Anatolian Phoenix-2024 Exercise started on September 30 and will continue until October 11. Images from the exercise have been shared on the ministry’s social media account. The exercise is progressing successfully, achieving its objectives and enhancing the capabilities of the participating elements.
