3 Arrested in Drug Bust in Küçükçekmece – Breaking News from Turkey
The Küçükçekmece District Police Department Public Security Bureau teams have successfully cracked down on drug trafficking in the area. Acting on a tip off, the teams began monitoring a house suspected of drug sales.
After witnessing a drug transaction taking place, the teams quickly intervened and stopped the suspect, identified as HK. A search of HK led to the discovery of drugs in his possession. Subsequently, an operation was carried out on the house leading to the apprehension of two suspects, Yusuf T. and YA.
A thorough search of the premises resulted in the seizure of 8 pieces of a narcotic substance called napkins, 5 pieces of cocaine weighing a total of 4 grams, 6,180 lira in cash obtained from drug trafficking, and 2 mobile phones.
Following the completion of the necessary procedures at the police station, suspect YA was released. However, HK and Yusuf T. were handed over to judicial authorities for further action.
HK was released on probation by the judicial authorities. On the other hand, Yusuf T. was arrested and charged with “drug and stimulant substance trafficking” before being sent to prison.
