3,000 Uzbek Citizens to be Employed in Korean Automotive Service Industry
The Korea Automobile Industry Association, which consists of 6,800 enterprises and 48,000 employees, has expressed a need for an additional 3,000 workers per year in the automobile industry. This desire for more workers was highlighted during a meeting between the Minister of Employment and Poverty Alleviation in Uzbekistan, Bekzod Musayev, and the Chairman of the Automotive Industry Association of the Republic of Korea, Kwak Yong Chol.
The meeting, which took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea, was attended by heads of car service associations from various provinces in Korea. The discussions emphasized the strong bond between the two countries and the successful collaboration in labor relations.
It was revealed during the dialogue that the Korean Automobile Industry Association currently operates 6,800 enterprises and employs 48,000 individuals. The Koreans expressed their need for an additional 3,000 workers annually in this sector and showed interest in partnering with Uzbekistan to fulfill this requirement.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to promptly involve Uzbek citizens who are interested in working in the field of vehicle maintenance in this new project. This partnership between Korea and Uzbekistan in the automobile industry is set to strengthen the ties between the two nations while addressing the workforce demands of the sector.
