Sadyr Japarov Joins EAEU Summit in Moscow
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov Arrives in Moscow for Eurasian Economic Union Anniversary Summit and Victory Day Celebrations
The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has arrived in Moscow to participate in the anniversary summit of the Eurasian Economic Union and solemn events marking the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
According to the press service of the head of state, President Japarov’s plane landed at Vnukovo 2 International Airport where he was welcomed by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin.
During his visit, President Japarov, along with the heads of other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, will take part in the anniversary meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on May 8. This meeting is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
Furthermore, President Japarov will also attend the Victory Day parade on May 9 as part of the solemn events commemorating the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The visit of President Japarov to Moscow not only signifies the importance of regional economic cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union but also highlights the strong ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in commemorating historical events such as Victory Day.
