5th Snow Leopard Run 2024 Half Marathon Coming to Bishkek
The 5th International Charity Half Marathon Snow Leopard Run Set to Take Place in Bishkek
On September 29, Bishkek will once again host the International Charity Half Marathon Snow Leopard Run, as organizers have recently announced. The race will kick off at the central Ala-Too square and will follow a route along Chui Avenue, Abdrakhmanov Street, through VDNKh area, and then along Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue.
It is estimated that around 4,500 participants will join the half marathon, with registration open for distances of 5, 14, and 21.1 kilometers, as well as a special race for children aged 3 to 13 years old.
The Snow Leopard Run is not just a sporting event but also a way to raise awareness and support for the conservation of the endangered snow leopard. By taking part in the race, each participant contributes to the protection of this rare animal, as well as the environment as a whole.
