Car falls into irrigation canal in Turkey, driver escapes
A car driven by Hasan Çetin fell into an irrigation canal near Ulubağ neighborhood in Haliliye district. Upon receiving notification of the accident, firefighters, police, ambulance and search and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Police divers and a crane were also sent to remove the vehicle.
Fortunately, the driver managed to escape by throwing himself out of the car during the accident. However, it is believed that his wife Özlem and their five children, Asmin, Aysun, Ecem, İbrahim, and Müslüm were in the car at the time of the incident.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, but so far, no details have been released. The incident highlights the dangers of driving on irregular terrain and the importance of taking necessary precautions to ensure safety.
