6 Super League Clubs Hit with PFDK Penalties – Latest Sports News
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board has announced the decisions made after its meeting today. According to the statement released by the TFF, several fines and penalties have been imposed on various teams and individuals.
After the derby match, Fenerbahçe has been fined 312 thousand liras, 112 thousand for field incidents caused by its fans and 200 thousand for statements about the referee and other match officials. The yellow-dark blue team has also been imposed with an electronic card blocking penalty due to the ugly and bad cheering in the same competition. Additionally, managers Can Gebetaş and Selahattin Baki have been fined 200 thousand liras each for their comments about the referee and other competition officials.
For the same match, Galatasaray has been fined a total of 340 thousand liras, 140 thousand for ugly and bad cheering by its fans and 200 thousand for statements made about the referee and other match officials. The board has also imposed a card blocking penalty for the next away match and fined Erden Timur 200 thousand liras for his statements.
However, the PFDK has decided that there is no need to impose a penalty on Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek. In addition, Beşiktaş has been fined 112 thousand liras for field incidents caused by its fans and Gaziantep, Pendikspor, and MKE Ankaragücü have been fined 80 thousand liras, 500 thousand liras, and 140 thousand liras respectively for the ugly and bad cheering by their fans.
