Accident on Osmangazi Bridge: 8 Injured in Kocaeli
An accident occurred this morning at around 08:00 on the Osmangazi Bridge in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli. The incident took place in the Yalova direction, involving four vehicles. The impact of the collision was so strong that one of the vehicles overturned and fell on its side.
The 112 Emergency Call Center was immediately notified, and both health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported, but eight individuals sustained injuries. They were given first aid at the scene and then taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Due to the accident, the road had to be closed for an extended period of time, resulting in long queues of vehicles. However, once the involved vehicles were cleared from the road, traffic returned to normal.
