Agricultural Vehicle Overturns on Yığılca Road in Düzce, Multiple Injuries Reported
A serious accident occurred on the Yığılca road in the city center of Düzce, leaving several individuals injured. The incident involved an agricultural vehicle known as a patpat, which was traveling from Yığılca to Düzce when it overturned in the Dutlar area. The driver lost control of the steering wheel, leading to the tragic accident.
Among the injured were ET (40), TT (34), AET (14), BT (13), AT (10), ZT (4), TCT (17), and UBT (14) who were inside the agricultural vehicle at the time of the crash. Health and gendarmerie teams were quick to respond to the scene after witnesses reported the accident to the 112 Emergency Call Center. The injured individuals were swiftly transported to various hospitals in Düzce by ambulances for immediate medical attention.
The road was temporarily reduced to a single lane to accommodate the emergency response and recovery efforts. Once the wreckage was cleared, traffic returned to normal.
