80 Trucks Deliver Humanitarian Aid to Gaza
The Palestinian Red Crescent Provides Aid to the Gaza Strip
The Palestinian Red Crescent has announced that 80 trucks carrying humanitarian aid materials entered the Gaza Strip, which is currently under Israeli blockade. The aid includes essential items such as food, water, medical supplies, and medicine.
According to Nibal Fersah, spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are facing a humanitarian “catastrophe” as a result of Israeli attacks. He emphasized that the situation has been exacerbated by shortages of food, medicine, and drinking water, and that Israel is also preventing the entry of fuel necessary for the operation of vital facilities and hospitals in Gaza.
Prior to the onset of the Israeli attacks, 600 trucks loaded with much-needed humanitarian aid and medical supplies were entering the Gaza Strip on a daily basis. The recent delivery of aid is a small but important contribution in providing essential relief to the people of Gaza who are facing a dire humanitarian crisis.
